Whitefish Shelter (previously known as the "Red Bin") is sponsored by The Westwood Inn. 
 

It was one of the first ones on the trail system and was known as "the Bin" because it was one. Original photos of the warm-up shelter and the sign show the list of donators and sponsors. Thanks to all we have had many a good visit and supper in that first shelter - lots of memories, good memories.
 

After a few years, it was time for a facelift - it got a coat of paint, solar lights and a new stove. Then after a few more years, we had raised enough money to do a totally new Whitefish warm-up shelter.  With lots of donated materials and hours of labour we now have a new, fully insulated warm-up shelter.
